Here is the composite requirement for our course, Composite 1, for Central Hostels. We were tasked to create a total of four keycards for their four locations in Europe (London, Barcelona, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen), one uniform keycard holder, two billboard and web banner, and one magazine. The colors were supplied but we have the freedom to create the design, and work with the given texts and colour options. The base graphic which are the flowers, are the national flowers of each country the locations are in, and the building graphics are the famous landmarks in each location.
This is the keycard holder, with a composite of all vector illustrations and with the given background colour choice.
This billboard, along with the other billboard and the two web advertisements, are inspired by the thought of viewing the view through a window from inside the hostel, showcasing famous landmarks to recognize the location.
Below is the magazine spreads for the hostel. The cover is optimized based on the warmth of the given colour palettes, and was chosen for the European feels. The colour palettes were used for each locations, based on the supplied files. The composite of flower patterns are also utilized for uniformity.
